Author Talk: The Female Sleuth

Author Talk: The Female Sleuth In-Person

Celebrate Mystery Month with this exciting and inspiring panel of mystery authors discussing their favorite protagonist: the female sleuth. Our panelists will delve into the significance of female representation in detective literature and how these strong, intelligent, and resilient characters have shattered stereotypes to emerge as powerful protagonists.

Hear from the authors about the challenges they face when portraying female sleuths in a predominantly male-dominated genre, and how they have successfully navigated these hurdles to create authentic and relatable characters.

Explore how these characters often address social issues and bring attention to gender disparities, using their investigative prowess to seek justice and empowerment for the vulnerable.

After the panel, engage with the authors in a lively Q&A session, where you can ask your burning questions about their writing process, the development of their female detective characters, and their favorite mystery novels.
